A better Kāpiti for you!

Living in Kāpiti and between 12–24 years old? We want to hear from you!

Tell us what it’s like to be you living in Kāpiti and go in the draw to win a Prezzy card. There are $50 and $100 Prezzy cards up for grabs!

What you say will help us (Kāpiti Coast District Council and Kāpiti Coast Youth Council) understand what young people want for our district.

We'd love you to share the survey – the more voices, the better!

It only takes 5 minutes, and no one will know what you personally wrote.

How to take part

It's quick and easy to provide your feedback.

  1. Take the survey online – in less than five minutes!
  2. Print the survey and drop into our services centres or libraries.
  3. Email your survey to HaveYourSay@kapiticoast.govt.nz
  4. Post your survey to Youth Action Survey 2025, Private Bag 60601, Paraparaumu 5254
  5. Come see us at one of our pop-up events at our parks, markets, community board meetings and other community venues.

    This survey is about hearing from young people aged 12–24 years who live in Kāpiti. It asks questions about things related to living in Kāpiti and is split into three sections:

    • Section one – Identity
    • Section two – Community
    • Section three - Places


    There are no right or wrong answers and it’s up to you to take part in the survey or not.  

    No one will know what you personally wrote.
