The playground equipment at Regent Drive playground, Paraparaumu, was reaching the end of its safe playing life, so we upgraded it.  

We proposed design for the new playground equipment that retained the same play values as the existing equipment, although some of the features may have changed.  

Our goal was to design an interesting playground that met the needs of both children and their caregivers. We also wanted our new design to compliment the play equipment available at surrounding playgrounds.
